Dr. David offers clients the opportunity to consult with him about complex healthcare decisions, including developing and implementing an individualized treatment plan. He is also available to consult with other physicians who seek to better understand and incorporate his unique approach to medicine. The goal is to provide valuable health education and guidance, helping clients navigate their health journeys with informed decisions.
Consultations are based on a client education model and do not establish a traditional doctor-patient relationship. Dr. Berger will not be acting as your physician; he will be limited to discussing general treatment plans and how he would typically approach care in similar cases.
As a health education consultant, Dr. David cannot directly order lab tests or prescribe medications; however, he can review medical records, offer general suggestions, share relevant resources (e.g., what tests to order and from where, if applicable), and provide general insights on test results that have been obtained from other healthcare providers.
If you are a former WPFC patient, the option to consult with Dr. Berger in this way is only available if you have a provider in your home state overseeing your care. It remains important for your local healthcare provider to oversee any specific medical decisions or treatments.
If you elect to become a client of DDMD, you may only resume being a WPFC patient if you become a resident of the State of Florida; you may not simultaneously be a client of DDMD and a patient of WPFC (even if you are temporarily in the State of Florida).
